A Few of My Favorite Things

Updated: May 29

Hi Friend,

I don't know about you, but I love a good list of products that can help me improve my kitchen game and that can help direct me to better overall health. This week, I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite products I use on a regular basis.

If you're feeling like you need some of these products in your life as well, I've included the links for them below!

Kitchen Must-Haves

Scoop and Spread Spatulas are the best! They get those tough corners of jars and are perfect for scooping out sourdough starter if you've jumped on that bandwagon of baking. I use this spatula way more than I employ my standard one. My grandma had given me one and I didn't think I would use it that much but I have since repented.

#2 Nespresso. If you're a coffee lover, this machine is pretty legit. My husband and I were extremely impressed when someone gifted us with one of these. The product from this tastes like some of the best coffee shop's coffee. I found myself not even wanting to go to a coffee stand to get my Americano because mine at home was just as delicious and I didn't have to get out of my pj's to get it. If you go to coffee shops often, this is cheaper than always going to coffee shops, however it is a bit of an investment each month to buy the pods that go with it.

#3. Avocado Slicer Tool I am not normally a gadgets-girl, but this one is pretty handy if you are an avid avocado toast consumer. This tool allows you to cut, pit, and slice your avocado with extreme ease. When I got mine, I wasn't sure if it would hold up to its promises, but it works really well and there's no fuss. Works great as a stocking stuffer.

Medicine Cabinet Essentials

#4. Fullscript has quickly become one of my favorite ways to help my patients obtain high quality supplements at a discounted rate. Though I take a foods-first approach when working with all my patients, there are some diagnoses that require supplementation. When that's the case, Fullscript is my go-to. If you are wanting to find quality supplements at a discounted rate, I wanted to give my email list exclusive access to my online store. Click the link below to visit the store and receive a discount on supplements.

#5. Ritual Vitamins. Finding a decent multivitamin is a hard task. This product is one of the better options I have seen. The sources are all traceable which I like and the vitamins/minerals are in their activate forms so your body can utilize them properly. They also have separate capsules within the vitamin that breakdown in the right portion of your digestive tract to maximize nutrient absorption. One little bonus to them is that the pills are flavored which helps with the fish oil taste, especially if you are pregnant and sensitive to smells when taking the prenatal version. The vitamins are subscription-based, but you can cancel at anytime and are not locked in to any contract. If you want $15 off your first order, check out the button below.

That's a wrap on my infomercial. I hope this gave you some new inspiration and made you aware of some great resources.

Heaps of blessings,

Mikyah, RDN, LD, CD
