Do you ever find yourself overwhelmed by thoughts food? Do you wonder what to have for dinner, or do you find yourself counting the minutes until you can have your next snack? Maybe you don't give much thought to your food before consuming it but you feel berated with guilt after having a break room donut and wonder why you can't "just say no" to the treats left by your coworkers.

If you resonate with any of these scenarios, you've experienced food noise. Today I'm writing all about food noise, why you should care about it, and how to escape from its troublesome lair.


Firstly, let's talk about what food noise is...

What does food noise feel like?

What causes food noise?

  • Overly restricting calories

  • Inconsistent eating/skipping meals

  • Disordered eating/eating disorders

  • Unaddressed habits


Why should you care?

  • It stops you from living your best life

  • It takes away from being present with loved ones

  • It adds undue stress to your life

  • It will not help you sustainably reach your health goals
